In these hot days in Italy I have time to think about one important aspect of live video streaming: the CDN.
I remember happy days when many CDN companies (Ustream, Livestream, Bambuser, etc...) gave the opportunity to stream live video at high resolution, to unlimited members, without any view hours limit for free. Of course we had some commercial banners but that was the "cost" of the service. The way to do this was the peer to peer technology. Suddenly all those companies abandoned that technology and now we must pay (more o less) for the service. Do you know why there isn't any company who give that kind of opportunity? I know, the answer could be the cost but don't you think that a little corner of market could be filled with that opportunity?

P.S. Sorry for my English :D

Try taking a look at some of these others, if the previously mentioned aren't fitting your usage requirements.
(I'm not saying that these will, but they are worth looking at)

Yes, but I think that fourty seconds of delay are too much.

Why is forty seconds delay too much?

Why is forty seconds delay too much?

Because, for example, if you have a real time chat, the followers can't understand.
