Does anyone use a Chromebook to do live stream productions?
Anyone using YouTube Live with a Chromebook?

I have also wondered that. I think the answer is going to be no. Not enough people using it along with slow machines.

I figured, it's weird because Google made YouTube Live and you would think they would make a computer suitable for editing and live broadcasting on YouTube.

Alright funny enough, During the winter(I live in the Northeast) I run a snow can when we get a big storm. For I while I setup an old Windows machine to do the streaming from a webcam, then one day I tried using the JTV web streaming and it worked great on the chromebook. The video was 4:3 which was fine for the snow cam. I would not have been able to do any real High Quality streaming but for my use case it worked great!

It would be an interesting challenge to see a Logitech C920 streaming through a Google Chromebook to YouTube Live.
