Hey guys I was wondering if anyone out there has used the Logitech C920-C Webcam (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BUJBHGG/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00BUJBHGG&linkCode=as2&tag=thgufrquponet-20). It has a different body styling than the normal C920 and is certified business class.

I have the c920, which I consider to be the best logitech webcam I have ever owned.

One thing that appears to be difference between the two cameras...

The C-920 has Carl Zeiss lens.

The C-920-C does not appear to have the same lens.

I have a Sony HDRSR12 camcorder with a Carl Zeiss lens and it is excellent.

Unless there are features didn't read about in the BPH link I would save the extra money and buy the C-920 for $80 before the C920-C at $108. If I didn't own either, the Carl Zeiss lens would encourage me to buy the C-920.

The mount means nothing to me as I mount on 1/4 mounting screw of mini and regular tripod.

The biggest difference I see is the UVC (USB Video Class) driver support which extends the 920-C to be more easily useable with Linux. Since it doesn't use the Logitech software there may be some out of the box shortcomings for some folks but using the UVC drivers seems to allow for greater flexibility for developers. Whereas the C920 has the Logitech software which you may or may not find useful... I have 2 c920s and use some of the feature of the software E.G. Zoom and Face Follow.

It has a privacy shutter :)

I have the original C920. The C910 is better so long as you don't try to do 1080p in Skype.

one of the few times I will have to disagree with you :) . The sensor on the c920 is much better.

It's confusing because Logitech created two webcams with similar names:

C920 http://imageshack.com/a/img843/6435/3pkq.png

and the

c920c http://imageshack.com/a/img835/7529/8w1j.png
Why would they do this? So confusing to have such a similar naming convention...DOH!!!
