Judge or Jester?

Whic type of podcasts do you feel is more "popular"? Or more sought after?
Serious type of shows (Tech, History, Politics, ect) or "Judge" or the entertaining shows (pop culture, comedy, reviews) or "jester"?

And is it possible to do both shows without copping out?

I think it comes down to the personalities on the show. There are many Tech podcasts that report the news but the ones that I have seen gain success are the ones that show personality. I think the big thing is going to be niche shows.
