Does anyone have any suggestions in regards to live streaming or recording PS3-4, Xbox 360 or One game play? Is there any HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) issues using the HDMI cable?

Hopefully RadarGaming sees this as I'm pretty sure he uses the Elgato device or is familiar with it. Might want to PM him just in case.

I use the elgato device quite a bit. I usually edit with Sony Vegas afterwards since their editor is very bare bones, We have some gameplay on our YT channel for reference. I have stream PS3, PS2, XB360, Dreamcast and even the original Xbox with the device and it does a great job. If you need any info feel free to ask.

With your PS3, you used HDMI? Did you use a HDMI splitter?

I have used component but plan on picking up a splitter once I get a new receiver.

I just wanted to confirm the HDCP work around.

There are quite a few splitters that do assist with that. A few of my buddies use splitters and they do indeed work.

RadarGaming did a video too. He used the Avermedia capture card (you can solve the same HDCP issue with an HDMI splitter).

Seems interesting. I was reading some of the reviews and they seem pretty positive
