As the year comes to an end I am looking forward to 2014. I have a feeling this will be a great year for Podcasters / Internet Broadcasters. What are some things you are hoping to see / see change in the coming year

For me, just hoping to get my blog and podcast going. I think I have all the gear I need, so just need to put it all together and find a subject and start talking. :)

Netflix is bringing 4K streaming to TVs with H.265 and House of Cards (http://www.geek.com/news/netflix-is-bringing-4k-streaming-to-tvs-with-h-265-and-house-of-cards-1580160/)

Better way to access a podcast in the car. I think that is the missing key to making podcasts mainstream

This! I would love and hope to see this happen. It's already so much easier than it was even 5 years ago. The level of connectivity is ever increasing. In fact I just commented on the FCC spectrum auctions in another thread and much of the impetus behind this appears to be to provide spectrum regionally from what I can determine. So that would be cool to see in 2014 and to have increasingly high speed internet access from our mobile devices wherever we are. Livestreaming 24/7 .... Then we can all be Truman :)

I watched a previously recorded show on RadarGaming's site and every 4 minutes video ads would pop up. Is that normal? I imagine when he did the live broadcast there were no ads.

My personal wish is that 2014 would bring something better than Comcast as far as internet speeds. Indianapolis has no FiOS, Google Fiber, etc. We need high speed at an affordable price. Alas, that is probably a 2015 thing.

I think 2014 needs to see all Internet Broadcaster/Podcasters to come together and get the word out about how to watch/listen to alternative content. Much like the NAB does for "HD Radio" we could use a campaign for the good of all podcasters when it comes to teaching people that it isn't that difficult to find these shows that are, in a lot of ways, far superior to radio shows.
