I used the blog talk radio call system again this week on the Free For All and Im super impressed with it. Very simple to use and having a remote call screener is amazing.

Now for the con.

They seem to be over selling the product. We had some Bandwidth issues from the caller side and there is a slight delay with every call.

Anyone else use Blog Talk Radio for callers?

You should do a show review on this or use this as your pick of the week. This looks cool.

I have been running BTR for over 200 episodes and I commend them for their interface improvement. It has come a long way since my visit to their offices. There are some issues here and there but when it comes to ease of screening calls no one has been able to do it better. I got the shows as proof of that.

It's not bad actually. I use Skype with BTR so my audio is good. Callers have varying audio quality though.

I actually did a few shows on Blog Talk radio when I was testing different ways to do a internet radio show. Its great but if you really want to use it you need to pay. The free service doesn't give you much

I use Callinstudio.com the only "bad" thing is if you get UBER Popular your bill may reflect it. It costs me about $3 a show (60 minutes) we aren't getting a whole lot of callers (lots of chat). But they have the same features (just not as pretty) as BTR. they pay structure is based on minutes on the call, and you pay for each caller. The good news is no callers = no big bill. You would have to have a ton of callers on hold to get your bill up to $40 of BTR. You can specify how many people can be on hold at the same time, and if they can listen to the show. It's pretty flexible.

Hey Dave,

We generally get anywhere from 5-12 callers for a 2 hour show. What do you think our estimated bill would be? Also how would you rate the quality of the calls compared to Blog Talk Radio
