WebRTC. Do a search on this forum for more info. Interesting and promising technology though. It also appears that it only displays a 4:3 resolution. 16:9 is displayed letterboxed in most WebRTC clients

To see it in action launch the sites in Chrome or Firefox.

Andrew have you used any of these services? How do they compare to skype or google hangouts?

Oscar, have done some one to one and am experimenting with its use for work purposes. Very impressed so far but have not used it yet as part of a broadcast. Tom Sinclair has experimented with it however and has posted a video of his experiences

I need to play around with this. A lot of people have been talking about WebRTC as the future of video communication.

Personally I think in the Podcasting/ Internet Broadcasting world we need something thats not browser based.

I have used several different webRTC apps and have found them to be comparable to Google Hangouts in video and audio quality. As of now, I would not use this to replace Skype for a one-on-one interview but might for a multi-guest segment.

It certainly is easy to use.
