I'm a Podcaster…That's what I do!

Last night on GFQ's Free For All we were discussing how some in the field have figured out how make a real living from their internet broadcast. We're not talking just earning a profit, but enough to be considered a professional "podcaster."

What do you think it takes to make Internet Broadcasting/podcasting your full time career, and why have so few really prolific podcasters been able to figure it out?

I'm still new to all of this but as an avid consumer of content, I believe that Cliff Ravencraft nails it with his perspective.

I think it takes talent and content. I really don't plan on "making it" as a podcaster I do it because its fun but there are a lot of people out there that have a great show and a very large audience. You need to have "IT" in order to do well.

As far as cliff goes... He is a marketing guy. not an entertainer.

In order for this to become mainstream more regular people need to figure out how to find our shows. 4g in the car will be what changes it for us.
