Winamp is dead. RIP

I saw this on the Winamp website http://www.winamp.com/media-player/en

Winamp.com and associated web services will no longer be available past December 20, 2013. Additionally, Winamp Media players will no longer be available for download. Please download the latest version before that date. See release notes for latest improvements to this last release.
Thanks for supporting the Winamp community for over 15 years.

That is sad. I remember using it when I first started coming across .mp3 files in the late 90s. It was a great program then, but it did get rather bloated over the last few years.

I was using winamp until I went over to my Macbook. So from late 90's to about 2009. Sad
