Ok, this should be an easy questions.

I am using Vidblaster on a PC with an i5 processor. It runs pretty good until I start encoding. Then PC spikes to 100%.

I want to take the video from the vidblaster machine and send it to another PC that will have wirecast. I then want to use wirecast to encode and send the stream out to the CDN. I know I can do that right?

I assume I can use the video card I have in the vidblaster machine, there is an HDMI out, and run that to the wirecast machine if I have an HDMI capture card. Is that correct? If so, what is a good capture card to use in the wirecast PC?

Thanks!

Go with the Black Magic Intensity Pro (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CN9GEA/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001CN9GEA&linkCode=as2&tag=thgufrquponet-20). Best card at the price point. We only use those cards at GFQ.

Another idea would be to get another black magic card and use that to send the video out from your vidblaster machine.

I chose to go with the AverMedia card HD-DVR ($80.00).

How well does it work, Amnon? Also, are you using it with Wirecast or VidBlaster?

I have both cards and can tell you that the quality from the Black Magic cards are better then the AverMedia HD DVR (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002SQE1O0/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B002SQE1O0&linkCode=as2&tag=thgufrquponet-20)

Wirecast 5 supports video output Via Capture card. currently the only card that is support is the Black Magic Intensity Pro

Yeah, I realize that the Black Magic is better, but I'm looking at cost. The Black Magic is around $190, so the AverMedia being around $80 is better pricing. As long as it works "well enough" then I'd have to go with the AverMedia and eventually upgrade to the Black Magic.

I chose to go with the AverMedia card HD-DVR ($80.00). I have the same card and it works like a charm. It has taken everything I thrown at it, with no issues.

Picked up a "gently used" BM Intensity Pro from eBay for $115. So far so good.

Decklink cards work as well.
