Hi All,

Just wanted to share what I did for a pop filter on my Rode Procaster and PSM1 shockmount. Perhaps there is a specific one that is available but I was unable to locate it. Also based on the docs for the Procaster they seem to indicate that you don't need one. However I was determined to have the "cool" look everyone was sporting on their Heil PR40s.

So after looking at several options I just broke down and bought the Popless VAC PR40 which is designed for the Heil shock mount hoping it might work. Wonder of wonders it fits perfectly as you can see from the photos.

So if you have a arrangement such as mine there you go problem solved...albeit for ~60 bucks :) Hmmm perhaps next time I will just use some duct tape...

I had the matching gold pop filter from my PR40 that was an exclusive offering by BSW, and it looked pretty cool while I had it. Anyway, that set-up you have looks pretty nice as well.

Sidebar: Just finished watching the Apple developers conference keynote and the new toys coming out.

It's like a good suit, you just feel more professional wearing it.
