Why doesnt Wirecast have a playlist? Vidblaster just removed it (who knows why they would do this)

Anyone know if they plan on adding a playlist in wirecast 5?

FYI: Vidblaster's Playlist not removed, just being revamped and introduced in a later release - http://forum.ibroadcastnetwork.org/showthread.php/1357-What-happened-to-the-playlist-in-Vidblaster

Here's how you can do it for now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYXWXxjk8s0

You can also use CamTwist (http://camtwiststudio.com/) (If I remember correctly you don't have to use the Desktop presenter box and worry about capturing the box properly without touching borders. CamTwist selects only what is being presented in the video player window)

I get they don't have it, I've asked for it, and have been reassured it's coming, just remember, others may have it already, but Telestream will get it working well when they eventually get it out!

On Windows there's Shotkicker for Wirecast.

This is 2.7 demo but I believe it's just been updated to 2.8 and 3.0 is in the works.

The developer James Sadler communicates directly with the users on the Telestream Windows Wirecast forum.

I would be hard pressed to call Shotkicker a playlist. It does change shots on a schedule but that would require that you put every video into a shot then program shotkicker to activate each shot. When I think of playlist I think more of VLC where you drag and drop files and can move things around easily.

It will not, at least not in the initial release of 5.
