If anyone needs sound fx or music in their podcast here is a great way to incorporate it on the fly. A friend of mine that is an engineer at a radio station suggested it to me. The interface is so simple its incredible. Check it out. I bought it today and it allows me to trigger sounds on the fly, digital quality as im hosting my audio/video podcast. I use applause and little stingers every now and again. Also open and close music or a music bed could be fired off from here as well.
It's called Sound Byte by Black Cat. It runs $39. Check it out.

You can even trigger it remotely through an ipad or iphone. Very cool.

I found Sound Slate a long time ago and use it with my iPad. It works very well as a sound board to the shows.
